E-commerce platform development

Online stores engineered to convert. Headless when it earns its place, ruthlessly fast classical commerce when it does not — with the inventory and invoicing realities of selling in India handled properly.

Commerce is unforgiving about performance. Every extra second before a product image appears costs conversions, and the storefronts that lose most are usually the ones carrying the heaviest theme.

We build the storefront for speed and the back office for reality. That means a catalogue that stays fast with variants and filters, a checkout that does not lose people at the payment step, and an operations view where someone can actually see what has been ordered and what needs shipping.

For Indian businesses it also means GST-compliant invoicing, sensible handling of shipping zones, and payment rails that work locally rather than a US-first checkout bolted on.

What's included

Scope of the engagement.

Product catalogue

Variants, filters, specifications and search that stay fast as the SKU count grows.

Cart & checkout

A checkout engineered to reduce abandonment, with local payment rails rather than a foreign-first flow.

Order & fulfilment

An operations dashboard showing what was ordered, what is picked, what has shipped and what is stuck.

Inventory sync

Stock that reflects reality across channels, so you stop selling what you cannot ship.

GST-compliant invoicing

Invoicing built for Indian tax requirements from the start, not retrofitted at audit time.

Cross-sell & recovery

Related products and abandoned-cart recovery — the two mechanics with the clearest revenue attribution.

FAQ

Common questions.

Do I need full checkout, or a catalogue with enquiry?

It depends on how your customers actually buy. High-consideration purchases — tiles, machinery, furniture — often close over a call or WhatsApp after browsing, so a fast catalogue with strong enquiry flows converts better than a cart. Qyverix builds Bandhan Ceramic that way deliberately.

Should I go headless?

Only when it earns its place. Headless adds real complexity and cost; it pays off at scale, with multiple front ends or unusual performance demands. For most Indian SMBs a well-built classical commerce stack is faster to ship and cheaper to run.

How long does an e-commerce build take?

Full commerce platforms are scoped at 6–10 weeks. A catalogue-plus-enquiry build is faster at 3–5 weeks. Both start with a 30-minute discovery call that establishes which one fits.
